“An Upstate of Mind”
After a long exhausting college year in New York City, I finally came home to the suburbs of New York. In returning home Brian Brown signed me up on this trip that I had no idea about until maybe three days before it. It thus turned into the trip of the summer. It was late June and about to be July. We all had no expectations of what it was suppose to be, but we were all friends, well some of us were, so it had to be rad! Some of the crew met for the first time and we all became instant homies! It was like one of those miracle stories but it was all-positive instead of being mostly sad. The trip basically is a trip of new and old homies starting in Westchester County, Sleepy Hollow, New York to be exact, and venturing to the woods of Albany, NY and some woods north and south of it. It was basically one of the best trips I have been on, and it turned into one of the most remember able Fourth of July’s I have ever witnessed in my life! The Curtis Rapp family has it dialed!
This trip was filmed on a serious of random shots of 16mm film and digital footage from both Armand Brunelle and I.
